Selected Group Exhibitions 2008

• Forty Eight States will be featured in an exhibition titled "Road Trip", the San Jose Museum of Art, San Jose, CA. September 19, 2008 through January 25, 2009. Other work by Catherine Opie, Jeff Brouws, Lee Friedlander, Walker Evans, and Dorothea Lang.
• Forty Eight States will be featured in "TRACKS: The Railroad in Photographs" from the George Eastman House Collection. This exhibition will be on view at George Eastman House from October 11, 2008 - January 25, 2009. It is also slated to travel during 2009 and 2010.
• Forty Eight States and Frontier States, Cavallo Point, San Francisco, CA. 2008-2010. Selected for "20 California Photographers," including Wayne Levin, Imogen Cunningham, Mark Klett, Linda Connor, Michael Kenna.

Awards

• The artist is nominated for the Aperture West inaugural Book Prize. One hundred artists west of the Mississippi are nominated; ten will be selected as finalists in the summer 2007; one finalist will be offered an Aperture Book.
• The Center for Photography at Woodstock, Photography Now '07. Forty Eight States is awarded an Honorable Mention by juror Alison Nordstrom.
• Forty Eight States is a Critical Mass 2007 finalist
• Forty Eight States places in top 25 out of 819 entries in the 2007 Project Competition, Review Santa Fe.
